After many fulfilling years as a business consultant, I’ve decided to close that chapter and begin a new one — one centered around writing, reflection, and reconnecting with what matters most.
This June, my wife and I will be moving from the Netherlands to the south of France, where we’ll settle in the stunning region of Lot-et-Garonne. We’ve chosen a small, quiet valley just south of Villeneuve-sur-Lot, surrounded by the charm of towns like Pujols, Penne-d’Agenais, Monflanquin, Eymet, Cahors, Prayssac, and Tournon-d’Agenais. The landscape, the atmosphere, and the laisser-aller spirit of the region truly spoke to us.
In our new home — lovingly built and lived in by Maria and Alexandre and their three children — we hope to write, recharge, and reconnect. I’ll be dedicating my time to my first book, Business Regenerated, which explores how we can rethink business through a regenerative lens. Beyond that, we’re creating a small sanctuary for friends and family to visit, slow down, and enjoy life’s simpler rhythms.
To Maria and Alexandre: thank you for the beautiful home you created — we wish you all the best on your next journey. As for us, we’re deeply looking forward to the years ahead.
